HD2® Portable Sand Moisture Sensor

With HD2® Portable Sand Moisture Sensor, you can precisely measure volumetric moisture content in all types of fine or coarse sands directly in the stockpiles, such as plaster sand, river sand, bunker sand, granite rock fines, top dressing sand, concrete sand, and more. The HD2® sand moisture sensor addresses challenges posed by traditional moisture measurement techniques such as oven-drying or kiln drying. Drying methods use a small testing sample (around 500g) and yield results in 30-40 minutes. This method is significantly affected by stone size; even one larger stone in the test sample can throw results off by 10-20%!
